Day 1 | 14 Nov | New Delhi (D)

On arrival in Delhi, you’ll be met by your queer friendly guide and driver and transferred to your hotel for a two-night stay in the Indian capital. Evening we will drive in the Diplomatic enclave of the city before stopping for a local dinner at a restaurant to experience North Indian cuisine.

Day 2 | 15 Nov | New Delhi (B,D)

After Breakfast we experience a cycle-rickshaw ride or walking tour of Old Delhi, typically including the Jama Masjid mosque, the spice and silver bazaars of Chandni Chowk and imposing Red Fort.

The narrow lanes of Old Delhi once formed the hub of the Mughal capital, formerly known as ‘Shajahanabad’ after the great Emperor Shah Jahan. Different streets are given over to different trades in this atmospheric district and before setting off, your guide will quiz you on your interests in order choose the sights most likely to inspire, whether street-food hot spots, crafts workshops or hidden architectural gems.

Later in the evening  proceed to Depot 48 – a gay bar owned by a LGBT couple for music and dinner.

Day 3 | 16 Nov | Khajuraho (B,D)

Fly to Khajuraho and check in at  Hotel Lalit Temple View. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Later in the evening enjoy the  Sound & Light Show showcasing the sensuous Temples and the story of the Chandela King.  Dinner at the Hotel.

All of the youths you see working behind the counter used to live on the streets, or were orphaned (often both). Today, brought together by the founder Amin Sheikh, who himself grew up on the streets of Bombay, they live and work as family.
